Hello antilope,

You are much better to execute the SQL import from the command line, ignoring the BLOB errors that were causing the large packet size.

I have a 100MB file that I need to import into MySQL. Any ideas on the best way to do this?

I've tried the MySQL Query Browser, but that keeps crashing – with a "Packet size to big" error and then "MySQL connection has gone away".
